So now Im about halfway through the week of deathness..because unlike other horrible weeks of work, this one continues all the way through the weekend.
I would like to state, that as of yet, I have not skipped or missed any classes this week. That is quite an acheivement for me. Im not sure I've gone a whole week without missing anything (not even a tech) for the whole term (with the possible exception of the first week of class...but I doubt it). Which is pretty much bad news. What I haven't done yet this week though, is tech hours for opera. Im signed up for some strike hours though, as well as making rosaries and going to Lucy's Mudhouse to decorate pottery for the show, which is exciting. So that will kill a bunch of hours.
I also haven't done my vocal ped teaching observations...at all. I really really need to get on that.

However, I have been midly productive. I know how four out of five jury pieces picked for sure, I know three of them really well - two are memorized. I think I know what I'm doing for my fifth piece, I just need to see if its doable with heidi in a short time. My room is very clean, my fishbowl finaly got cleaned out today (it smelled completely foul..it smelled like...I'm not even going to tell you what it smelled like), and Im about halfway done my skills presentation prep. It's on a Jason Robert Brown song..tee hee..Im going to sneak musicals into as many courses as I can!!

I want randolph to call....I really really hope I got in, and Meagan too. *stressed* gah. Every now and then I think about it and I get all freaked out. and I've had "Pray Pray Pray, I pray I make RAPA" stuck in my head all day. (randolph academy of performing arts...it fits with the song if you speed that bit up).

In other exciting news...floors are being put into my house! (not my apartment, but my house at home!) We haven't had floors since we ripped up the old ones five years ago! I'm SO excited!

And now back to the week of deathness...

So this week = death-ness. I am SO very much not looking forward to it. It's choir intensive week, so we have choir everyday, plus, opera is next week so we are called for all of the opera times, plus I'm making up lessons that I missed from before so Im singing basically all the time... this = tired vocal chords. I also have to sing in masterclass on wednesday and do a skills presentation on friday, and I have NO idea what I'm going to do for that.

However, this weekend was much fun.
Thursday was the cabaret...which was insane, and so much ended up being last minute, but we sold about 70 tickets which was more than we were expecting, it was totaly full and people seemed to really enjoy it. Although I realized as the night progressed that being in 10 numbers was probably too many..I had a LOT of fun. I threw one of the videos up on youtube so my sister could watch it...I'll probably take it down farily soon..but If you want to give it a watch..here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uXFlAwFjTM There are some dropped words and we had never rehearsed with our set..and we went SUPER fast..but it still seemed to work out.

On Friday, We went to see Urinetown in Guelph, and while ours was better (tee hee) it was totaly enjoyable! Soooo funny. It really showed how you could takt that show in soo many different directions and still have it bascially work. When we got back from Urinetown we went to michelles for her B-day, meagan and I mostly hung out in the much less crazy downstairs, then we went out to symposium, then dropped by the Spur where everyone was drunkenly dancing and singing..it was a little weird to be there totaly sober, but dancing was fun...it was also funny to notice how much kale humps people when he's drunk...lol...it was rather hilarious.
Saturday was St. Pattys day...we went over to kales and were basically our weirdo ridiculous selves...there was much straddeling involved....hilarious good times.

In terms of schools for next year: I finished auditions for St. Lawrence College, Randolph and Sheridan all for Musical theatre. Ive been accepted to SLC, and I'm waiting till the end of this week to hear about randolph and till the 31st for sheridan...I really really want to know! ahh..freaking out about it! Since next year is still so very up in the air.

anyway..im going to go to bed..because sleep is good!
