So this week = death-ness. I am SO very much not looking forward to it. It's choir intensive week, so we have choir everyday, plus, opera is next week so we are called for all of the opera times, plus I'm making up lessons that I missed from before so Im singing basically all the time... this = tired vocal chords. I also have to sing in masterclass on wednesday and do a skills presentation on friday, and I have NO idea what I'm going to do for that.

However, this weekend was much fun.
Thursday was the cabaret...which was insane, and so much ended up being last minute, but we sold about 70 tickets which was more than we were expecting, it was totaly full and people seemed to really enjoy it. Although I realized as the night progressed that being in 10 numbers was probably too many..I had a LOT of fun. I threw one of the videos up on youtube so my sister could watch it...I'll probably take it down farily soon..but If you want to give it a watch..here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uXFlAwFjTM There are some dropped words and we had never rehearsed with our set..and we went SUPER fast..but it still seemed to work out.

On Friday, We went to see Urinetown in Guelph, and while ours was better (tee hee) it was totaly enjoyable! Soooo funny. It really showed how you could takt that show in soo many different directions and still have it bascially work. When we got back from Urinetown we went to michelles for her B-day, meagan and I mostly hung out in the much less crazy downstairs, then we went out to symposium, then dropped by the Spur where everyone was drunkenly dancing and singing..it was a little weird to be there totaly sober, but dancing was fun...it was also funny to notice how much kale humps people when he's drunk...lol...it was rather hilarious.
Saturday was St. Pattys day...we went over to kales and were basically our weirdo ridiculous selves...there was much straddeling involved....hilarious good times.

In terms of schools for next year: I finished auditions for St. Lawrence College, Randolph and Sheridan all for Musical theatre. Ive been accepted to SLC, and I'm waiting till the end of this week to hear about randolph and till the 31st for sheridan...I really really want to know! ahh..freaking out about it! Since next year is still so very up in the air.

anyway..im going to go to bed..because sleep is good!

Reefer Madness at Hart House was AWESOME!! I'm so glad I went, even though I probably shouldn't have as I have SO much work to do/music to learn this weekend and NO Time because of all the Bat Boy Call back Craziness. Its probably the most time I'll spend on bat boy untill the week of the show.
ANYWAY...
Sarah drove Myself, Laura, Laura K, and Danielle to TO where we hopped on the subway and rode into Museum station. We walked to the theatre and picked up our tickets, then we ran back up to the macdonalds on bloor because we were starving. It was gross and rainy out though and on our way there, some people were walking side by side and at the exact moment we passed them so that we were right on the street side of the sidewalk, a car drove through a giant puddle of doom and splashed a LOT of nasty TO street water all over me, Sarah and Laura K (mostly). I emitted a big girly intake of breath/scream combo as it was cold and gross and wet. Danielle laughed...a lot. Anyway, so we scarfed the McD's and RAN back to the theatre as we were cutting it close to show time (Now, If I had of known the show was going to start 15 minutes late, we woudln't have worried about it). When we got to the giant pudlle of death...we ran past it (actually ran) in single file as far away from the street as possible while yelling "GIANT NEVERENDING PUDDLE OF DEATH!!" or at least I was yelling that...but it really was a giant puddle.

The show was great, I liked the whole cast, the costumes and dancing were awesome. The lighting was great. And though I know it always gets critisized at every show ever...the sound did kinda suck. Sometimes mic cues were dropped, One character was WAY louder than the others and often times people sounded like they were in a tin can. Other than that though, it was great. Possibly my favourite part was when I realized that Jimmis mic pac was in the front portion of his dance belt (thats all that he was wearing....a dance belt is like a flesh coloured thong). I laughed really hard. That whole scene was rather hilarious...meagan actually screamed really loudly at one point. Also, when mary lane hemoraged blood, she coughed and blew a blood capsule in her mouth so that blood was all over her teeth and dribbling down her chin, so that when she smiled at the audience and said "I love babbies" it totaly looked like she had just eaten one. lol. The whole thing was just awesome and I really wanted to stay for the midnight show and watch it again..but callbacks are tomorow and I need to be awake for those, since I think they may get rather intense/down to the wire...way more than last year. yeeps! It was also really good to see caela at the show. I decided I need to visit people more (even though I have no time) talk of a trip to montreal occured...I have never visited ally...and that would be fun...since montreal seems like such a fun city and I've never really been there...
anyway...bedtime for me..its super late.

Fantastic quotes from today:

So the good news is that my fish isn't dead. Yay! he started swimming around today and I fed him and its all good. Apparently he was just pretending...(he's just sleeping...just pining for...whatever the asian fish equivalent to fjiords is....)

So today I slept in...and then I realized I had a terrible stomache ache..so I slept some more and suddenly it was 5:45 and time to go with Laura to see two shows at UW. I honestly didn't like the first one that much, it seemed like one of those scripts thats trying to be all deep but is really just sort of pretensious nonesense. But, their use of set and music was fantastic, and blocking, it was interesting to watch, i just didn't like the play. The second one however, 'Vanities' (that had Lauras friend in it) was fantastic. It was really entertaining and even though it was only a three person cast you didn't feel it was dragging or too long or anything. It was really neat. The costumes were fantastic, the accents were fantastic, i really really enjoyed it, so im glad I went, even if I was sick.
I came home, had soup, crackers and gingerale and did a bunch of work on my 'evil file' (a class assignment, im not all dark and evil I promise) talked a bunch on MSN and went to sleep. Well, I havn't technically gone to sleep yet, but its next on my things to do...
so i will...
right..
now.
